About This Installation

Here We Glow! transforms Bournemouth's seafront into a magical illuminated trail featuring stunning light-based artworks and installations. As dusk falls each evening of the festival, the promenade comes alive with glowing sculptures, interactive light pieces, and illuminated installations.

This installation responds directly to the festival's theme "WE ARE HERE," using light to mark presence, create gathering points, and celebrate our connection to this coastal space. Artists have created works that engage with the landscape, the sea, and the community, inviting visitors to walk through and interact with glowing artworks.

Perfect for families, couples, and anyone who loves the magic of illuminated art, this free installation creates one of the festival's most memorable experiences. The installations are designed to be enjoyed at your own pace - take a romantic evening stroll, bring the kids for a magical adventure, or simply pause and soak in the atmosphere.

The light trail operates from dusk (approximately 19:00) onwards on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, weather permitting. The installation typically runs until approximately 22:00 each evening.
